The Bowie Baysox, a Double A affiliate of Baltimore, play in Prince George's Stadium. The stadium was built in 1994, opened June 16, 1994, seating 10,000, and is a nice stadium with seats below the aisle and bleachers with backs above the aisle. Tickets prices are satisfactory when you consider no cost for parking or program. The Baysox were playing the Reading Phillies. The Baysox had a shut-out going through 8 2/3 innings and then gave up a homerun. They won 7-1. The box score was Phillies R-1, H-8, E-2 and Baysox R-7, H-12, E-0. The starting pitcher, Lopez, (don't know first name as he was not listed in program) had 13 strike outs through 6 1/3 innings. The relievers added 3 more strike outs. The field lines are RF& LF-309' and CF-405'. Louie is the mascot. Attendance for the night was 1,887 2021--Affiliated with Baltimore. AA playing in the Northeast League, Southwest Division. |

U.S. Naval Academy, which covers more than 300 acres, is the undergraduate college of the U. S. Navy. Visit the Academy Chapel and U.S. Naval Academy Museum. Must have military decal on vehicle to enter ground. You can park outside and walk in with picture ID. Free
