We saw the game at Peoria Sports Complex which is shared by the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres that opened in 1994. The Arizona Fall League Mariners and Padres play here in the fall. We attended the game with our friends Jennifer, Gary, and Janet. The Seattle Mariners were playing the Milwaukie Brewers winning 9 to 3. The box score was Seattle R-9, H-13, E-2 and Milwaukie R-3, H-6, E-0. The field lines are RF-340, RC-385, CF-410, & LF-340. Cal Raleigh had a 2-run homer and Victor Robles had a homer. At the spring training ballparks that have two teams they are using a Challenge Rule. Each team has two challenges, a batter, pitcher, or catcher can challenge the umpire called pitch. On the big screen is shown the actual pitch, the pink screen pictures. A win lets you keep the challenge for future use, a loss take a challenge away. The Attendance was 8,221 on a sunny, but cool 69-degree day. It can seat 11,333. The wind was blowing from the NW as shown by the 15 team flags on the top of the CF batter's eye. There are 15 teams playing in the Cactus League located in the greater Phoenix area. Parking is free. An Air Force F-22 from Luke AFB flew by on its approach to the base runway. They were loading up players' vehicles on six auto transporters in the parking lot to bring them back to Seattle. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
